This wonderful lady sure made our Friday better when we came across her video!!
Most of us mindlessly do it every day; making cups of tea and coffee without having to think about it – like we are on autopilot. However, for Judi who suffers from Spinocerebellar Ataxia it is quite different.
Judi explains how using our Uccello Kettle as a daily living aid helps making a cup of tea easier and most importantly safer. Judi had tried different methods of pouring hot water from a regular kettle, but had difficulty doing so safely as she has a shake in her hand. In addition, she found it hard to lift a regular kettle safely when it contained boiling water as she also has reduced strength because of her condition.
Judi liked using the Uccello Kettle as a kitchen aid because of its effortless and safe tipping, meaning she will never have to lift a kettle of boiling water again while making tea.
Judi posts videos on her YouTube channel Judi’s Life with Spinocerebellar Ataxia which portrays how she carries out everyday tasks, some videos with living aids and some without. We really appreciate the time and effort Judi has gone to sharing her experience to benefit others.
We love to hear stories from our clients and find it satisfying to see real people getting the benefits from using our Uccello kettle as a kitchen aid.
